Wim Kuijken appointed to the Supervisory Board of De Nederlandsche Bank N.V.

Minister of Finance Jan Kees de Jager has appointed Wim Kuijken to the Supervisory Board of De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the Dutch central bank, with effect from 1 April 2012.
The Dutch government appoints one member to sit on this board. The government-appointed member is the link between the DNB and the Minister of Finance, and is a member of both the Supervisory Board and the Bank Council of the DNB. Wim Kuijken is taking the seat of André de Jong, who has been appointed Director-General of Primary & Secondary Education at the Ministry of Education, Culture & Science. This appointment is a secondary function and one that Wim Kuijken will fulfil alongside his duties as Delta Commissioner.
