Ariane Balledux
Communications Consultant (press & publicity) Ariane Balledux has been working for the Ministry of Infrastructure & the Environment since 1 February 2010. She is a Senior Communications Consultant and spokesperson for the Delta Commissioner and the Delta Programme. Previous, Ms Balledux worked for the Government Information Service, among others. There, she was jointly responsible for providing advice to members of the Royal Family and acted as their spokesperson. Her main area of focus was the national and international water management and spatial planning portfolios of the Prince of Orange. Ms Balledux was spokesperson and communications consultant at the secretariat of the Second World Water Forum (2000).
Esther Rijken
Esther Rijken, External Relations & Organisation Consultant, joined the staff of the Delta Commissioner on 1 February 2010. Among other things, she is involved with organising the annual National Delta Conference and in the development of a virtual exhibition for the Delta Programme. Earlier, Esther Rijken was a member of the Delta Programme quartermaster’s team. Previously, she worked at the secretariat of the Delta Committee and for the (former) Ministry of Agriculture, Nature & Food Quality.
