Liaison officers
Jolinda van der Endt
Jolinda van der Endt focuses as staff member of the Delta Commissioner’s on the progress of the sub-programmes South-western Delta and Rhine Estuary-Drechtsteden. In addition, she is working among other things, on the governance of the Delta Programme within which the organisation, working methods, decision-making and long-term planning are set down.
Ms Van der Endt has been involved in the development of the Delta Programme since 2009. Previously she worked at the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.
Tom Kompier
Tom Kompier was appointed to the Delta Commissioner’s staff on 15 March 2010. He previously worked in the private sector, for the Ministry of Economic Affairs and for the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency as counsellor for Industrial Affairs. Tom Kompier will work on the sub-programmes The Coast, Wadden Region and New urban developments and restructuring.
Emmy Meijers
On 15 February 2010, Emmy Meijers was appointed to the staff of the Delta Commissioner for a period of one year. She originates from the interim pool of the General Administration Service.
Ms Meijers is Relations Manager for the sub-programmes Freshwater and the IJsselmeer region. In addition, she is responsible for cohesion among the sub-programmes within the Delta Programme as well as budgeting and finances.
Emmy Meijers has worked for the national government since 1991 and has wide experience with inter-managerial work processes. She has gained experience with water safety and water management in her position as Director of Water and Shipping for the North Sea, at the Ministry of Transportation, Public Works and Water Management.
Adriënne van der Sar
Adriënne van der Sar has been a Delta Commissioner staff member since 1 February 2010. Among other things, she is Liaison Officer for the sub-programmes Safety and Rivers. She is also responsible for the working methods within the Delta Programme including the rules framework for the Multi-year Programme for Infrastructure, Spatial Planning and Transport (MIRT).
Ms Van der Sar was previously with the Delta Programme Quartermaster’s team.
She also worked for the Water Affairs Directorate-General of the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management and was also seconded to the European Commission where she drafted the proposal for the Flood Risk Directive.
